Our Valuable Team Members
Sam HughesPresident / Owner
I have always had a passion for helping others and being a part of a great team. I have found my calling at Bluegreen that combines my engineering background and entrepreneurial spirit. These skills have played a vital role in in the development of Bluegreen. My wife, Joanna, and I have three incredible daughters named Zanna, Eden, and Charlize. We are active in our church and enjoy spending as much quality family time as possible.
Cheryl SmithOffice Manager
Our family has always appreciated a company that provides high quality service we cannot replicate on our own. Bluegreen’s customer service and focus on integrity allow me to serve our clients well. My husband, Chris and I “enjoy” doing small home improvement projects, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Joanna HughesMarketing Director
I love being a part of a fast paced, energetic honest culture that values its employees just as much as it values its customers. Working in an environment where I can bring creativity into the work place is a true joy in my life and only bested by the privilege of working alongside my husband, Sam. Before children, I taught high school speech and drama and directed high school theater. I now have three beautiful girls who keep me happily busy. I love cooking with my husband, spinning pottery with my daughter, Zanna, painting with friends and running my heart out.
Bob SalbOperations Manager
I am excited to be part of the Bluegreen company growth, bringing over 10 years of Operations Management and 25 plus years of Sales/Customer Service to the team. My wife and I have four adult children who are all married with three grandchildren thus far and counting. We spend all our free time renovating an historic Waukesha icon home (The Blair House). Our future goal is for it to become a Bed & Breakfast that we will call “Spring City B&B”.
Jason SamensLead Technician
I am excited to be a part of the Bluegreen team! I bring 12 years of leadership and customer service experience as a manager with a small and dynamic team at a campground in Northern Wisconsin. I like to work hard but can appreciate slowing down and relaxing. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors while challenging myself physically with long distance running and triathlons. I also relish planning and going on vacations and road trips.
Scott ParkerLead Technician
I am a Bluegreen Certified Textile Expert with 10 years of experience in the building service industry; including management, operations and sales. I enjoy spending time with family, going to parks, fishing and metal detecting. I also enjoy meeting new customers and look forward to a long future with Bluegreen!
I have received the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certification and am excited to continue my floor care education alongside Bluegreen. I am also concurrently enrolled in college here in Wisconsin. In my free time is spent fishing, kayaking, and doing anything involving the outdoors . I want to keep learning new ways of doing a better job and continually improving my life.
A few years ago I decided to relocate to Wisconsin to be closer to family. My interests include singing in a church choir and reading. In addition, I especially enjoys spending time with my niece and nephew. As I continue to establish myself in Wisconsin, I am striving to become more and more valuable to the Bluegreen team.
I have recently joined the Bluegreen team and I am loving it. Everyone here has integrity, a solid work ethic and knows how to show great respect. Before floor cleaning, I did other sorts of manual labor including lawn care, painting, and screen printing. I enjoy the type of work that is physical and detail oriented. When I am not working at Bluegreen, I am working in school. I am married and have a 1 year old girl. Some of my hobbies include reading, exercising and making a mess on the floor with my daughter.
